Varilux University
As part of our commitment to offer eye care professionals the best possible support, Essilor founded the Varilux University in Paris. Open since 1997, the University runs a three day course for eye-care professionals. This course is designed to help you make your own practice a centre of excellence for presbyopic correction.

The three day course offers advanced training for Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians; with invaluable information that will assist delegates throughout their career. The main speakers are independent lecturers, all experts in their field. They include University Lecturers, Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians along with speakers from Marketing and Communication backgrounds.
All of the speakers are in touch with the latest industry developments and in the practicalities of work in the practice.
The course takes a step by step approach to refraction, dispensing and selling varifocal lenses. The format includes lectures, demonstrations and practical workshops.
Delivery of the course is conducted in an extremely relaxed manner, and sessions are held in English. In the evenings, delegates enjoy the Parisian experience, the highlight of which is a gala riverboat dinner on the Seine. All accommodation, transport and meal costs are included in the package.
